Florida Destination #4--Key West part 1
We decided to drive to Key West on Wednesday and take our time...stopping at all the Key's along the way. This post will be the people picture post....part two will be the scenery pictures! I had my face glued to the window in hopes I would see a dolphin...at one point I thought I did. I got so excited I couldn't talk. Justine then informed me it wasn't a dolphin with a bird on it's back...it was someone scuba diving. Oops:-)

Florida Destination #1---Daytona Beach
So our trip began with a little tension due to overpacking so I thought I would make everyone laugh (last pic) Our drive down went smoothly (well except for when I was driving in TN at 2 in the morning and didn't realize we were in the mountains and was going a little too fast) We made it to destination 1- Daytona Beach on Sunday morning. We hung out with Adam's dad for a bit and then went to the beach to play, then headed to his aunt and uncles to hang out in their pool, and then it was off to dinner. Very relaxing day...great start to vacation! Coming soon.....Destination #2- Cocoa Beach, Destiniation #3- Weston, and Destination #4 The Keys!

I did it!!!!
After YEARS of wanting a tattoo I finally did it! I have thought about it forever....trying to decide what meant enough to me to have inked on my FOREVER. I had originally thought I wanted a clover made out of 4 c's (in memory of aunt Carolyn and in honor of Clayton, Cole, and Chloe) but the artist was having issues with that so I happend to be looking through a book of fonts and found the perfect C.
Justine and I have been talking about Tattoo Tuesdays for 4 years and someone always chickened out (me) but while we were lying on the beach in Ft Lauderdale I decided it was time. I was in a perfect environment...no stress, sand, the ocean, no worries....just enjoying life. It seemed like the right time, we found the right place, and I found the right design.
The tattoo artist was great, he took his time drawing stuff out for me and was excited to do my first tattoo. He kept stopping to make sure I was okay and was a little dissapointed that I wasn't freaking out or complaining:-) Here are a few pics....more posts on the trip coming soon! Also coming soon...hopefully good news on the job front and a few memories of the summer!
Me trying to preten the color didn't hurt (it really didn't but it was ANNOYING!)
Hard at work:-)

Rocky Update

After a LONG week and even LONGER weekend Rocky is FINALLY starting to feel better! The doctor had called on Friday and said he had urinary tract disease and the beginning of crystals forming which isn't good but it was great that we caught it in time. He put Rocky on new food to prevent another episode and an antibiotic. Friday night I spent all night up with the poor guy, he couldn't stop getting sick. In the morning I started to freak out a bit because he started spitting up blood:-( So I rushed him to the vet and waited for them to get him in. He retested him and said he was fine he was probably just reacting badly to the antibiotic. They gave him a shot of the new antibiotic and told me not to feed him until Sunday morning. For those of you who know the little guy you know this is an impossible feat...he wants to eat all the time! He made it though and when I fed him Sunday morning he was like new. I tried to give him his new medicine and he literally spit it out at me!
He cuddled all night with me last night and was begging for food this morning so I think he is well on his way to recovery! Thank you all for your good thoughts! He is on a diet even more now so maybe the next time everyone sees him he will be a new slimmer version of himself! Also, his birthday is on Wednesday and the vet informed me that he will be a senior citizen....he now gets a senior discount!!!

Rocky

I had to take Rocky to the vet this morning because he has been having quite a few accidents and has been using his litter box A LOT. He HATES being in the car, but he behaved perfectly at the vet once again and purred a lot for them. He had to stay there though because they are doing some tests on him, he had to get x rays, and they had to do blood work. The doctor just called now and said his x rays came back clear (YIPPEE!) but we were too late with the blood work and samples that we won't have an answer on that until the morning. Please keep the poor little (he is down to 17lbs!) guy in your thoughts today. Here are some pictures of the purry guy!
